Pedagogical Practicum and Student-Teachers Discursively Conceived in an ELT Undergraduate Program

The research study shows how pedagogical practicum is conceived, and student-teachers are constructed as language teachers, within the discourses spoken in initial meetings institutional documents of an English teaching undergraduate program Bogota, Colombia. were analyzed under principles ethnography communication linguistic ethnography. This affords insights into a contributory conception image teacher’s figure student-teachers. Pedagogical contains several academic, professional, experiential aspects that configure this space with established (pre-) requisites, tasks, roles for student-teachers; these turn start constructing individuals particular manners must-be must-do.
